Amino acids all share a common structure with one exception. What part of the amino acid makes each one unique? I looked through my notes and couldn't find this one… It's for my study guide, anybody have any clue?:)

I think it may be the side chain, because that's the only thing I can see with any indication of making the amino acid unique
