simplify and state domain x^2 + 7x/x^2 -5x + x^2-4x/x^2-5x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rational polynomial, right? so any real number, excluding those that make the denominator 0. \[x^2+\frac{7x}{x^2}-5x+x^2-\frac{4x}{x^2}-5x\] combine like terms first and then look at any denominators. the denominators can't be 0. you have to exclude those points from the domain.
