There can be some hard choices in that sort of situation if any of them are your friends.  Otherwise, why would their poorly formed opinions matter?

You chose your boyfriend.  Due to some facts of neuroscience, I always suggest people wait on those relationships because before mid 20s it is really something the body is not ready for.  However, that aside, it is a personal choice.  You like who you like.  End of story.

(The neuroscience, in short: the prefrontal cortex does not fully develop until about 23 in females and 25 in males.  Longer term thinking and impulse control is harder without a fully functioning prefrontal cortex.  So people are more likely to jump into a relationship for the wrong reasons and get hurt.)
