Simplify 3√50 - 8√2
\(\large\tt \color{black}{\sqrt{50}=\sqrt{5\times5\times2}}\)
Wait now I'm more confused lol can yu explain how this work how that turn in 5x5x2 like Ik that adds to 50 but what about the other half and what about the 3?
\(\large\tt \color{black}{3\sqrt{50}-8\sqrt{2}}\) \(\large\tt \color{black}{=3\sqrt{5\times5\times2}-8\sqrt{2}}\) \(\large\tt \color{black}{=3\times5\sqrt{2}-8\sqrt{2}}\) \(\large\tt \color{black}{=15\sqrt{2}-8\sqrt{2}}\) \(\large\tt \color{black}{=(15-8)\sqrt{2}}\) \(\large\tt \color{black}{=(7)\sqrt{2}}\) \(\large\tt \color{black}{=(7)(1.41)}\)
...... Ok thank you for the answer and how yu came to it but I don't under stand what yu did or why yu did it that way
