War was the main factor in the decline of Native American population in New England. True or false. I understand that war and disease led to diminished population of Native Americans, but I don't know what one was more predominant.

I would say it is True..... But I can't be 100% sure...

I've actually since spoken to my teacher, and disease was the main cause of the decline. In some areas, disease wiped out as many as 90% of the native american population. When visiting villages, pilgrims found literally piles of dead bodies.
