-2/7 + 6 +1/7x = 18

OpenStudy (ahsome):

Equation:\[\frac{-2}{7}+\frac{1}{7x}+6=18\]

OpenStudy (ahsome):

Move the 6 over to the RHS \[\frac{-2}{7}+\frac{1}{7x}=18-6\]\[\frac{-2}{7}+\frac{1}{7x}=12\]

OpenStudy (ahsome):

Convert all of them to have a denominator of \(7x\) \[\frac{-2}{7}*\frac{x}{x}+\frac{1}{7x}=\frac{12}{1}*\frac{7x}{7x}\]

OpenStudy (ahsome):

\[\frac{-2x}{7x}+\frac{1}{7x}=\frac{84x}{7x}\]

OpenStudy (ahsome):

Cancel out the \(7x\)\[-2x+1=84x\]

OpenStudy (ahsome):

Solve for \(x\) I might have made a miscalculation on the way, really busy right now. Sorry for that, but that is the jist of it.
