An example of how the water cycle affects weather is the? ~ occurrence of tsunamis ~ pollution of the Gulf Stream ~ effects of the El Nino ~ formation of estuaries

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

Do you know what the water cycle is? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The cycle of processes by which water circulates between the earth's oceans, atmosphere, and land, involving precipitation as rain and snow, drainage in streams and rivers, and returns to the atmosphere by evaporation and transpiration.

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

So what do you think would be affected by it? We know the water cycle is basically the movement of water.. so what would the answer be? Make a educated guess ^-^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The occurrence of tsunamis.

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

The occurrence of tsunamis is caused by the earth plates shifting, so it would not be that.. what else do you think it could be?

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

Pollution is caused by people. when we dump our trash in the ocean.. so it wont be that either.. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I knew that one :P Well estuaries is the tidal mouth of a large river, where the river meets the stream. And the El Nino is a series of climax changed effecting the equatorial Pacific region... so I think it would be effects of the El Nino.

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

Your right! Good job! See? you knew it all along!! ^-^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess I did! Thank you for your help :)
