If the odometer on the car reads 25.0 km at the beginning of a trip and 65.0 km a half hour later, what is the average speed of the car? (Remember significant figures) A. 0 km/h B. 80 km/h C. 80. km/h D. 80.0 km/h

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

So we looks at how far the car traveled...and divide that by how long it took to happen So here the car traveled (65 - 25) = 40 km And it did it in a matter of a half hour...or .5 of an hour...so what we have is \[\large \frac{40km}{.5h} = ?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That would be 80

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Correct
