Find the greatest common factor for: 4x^2 y^2 z^2, 6xy^2 z^2, 12xyz^2

To find the greatest common factor for \[4x^2y^2z^2, 6xy^2z^2, 12xyz^2\], first lok at the numbers in each of the 3 products: 4, 6, and 12. What is the GCF of 4, 6 and 12?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

After looking at the numbers, look at the x's. Between the three of them, they all have at least 1 x in them. So the GCF of the three products will also have 1 x. Can you apply the same concept to y and z?
