I'm not quite sure how to simplify it, honestly. They're asking you to use creative words that aren't used every day, I'm assuming. Combine shorter sentences into one and make it make sense. I can't help further than that, sorry.

Because learning something new isn't that easy, you have to stay focused. Learning something that is difficult can be very hard and takes time, though, as long as you pay attention and focus, you are able to understand it much better.
