yes its saying that -3 and 4 over -6 but that's all I got I really don't understand what to do next

When two variables are stuck together like 'xy', that means that they're multiplied together. So, (-3 times 4) over -6. 'Over' means that xy is being divided by something. So, this question is asking you what (-3*4)/(-6) is.

oh so would it be 12 divided by -6 and then I get 2?
