using standard form, write the equation of the line through (-2, 5) and parallel to y=-2x+5 using point slope form, write the equation of the line through (1,-5) and perpendicular to -3x+2y=12

OpenStudy (zpupster):

(-2, 5) = (x,y) substitute the x and y into y=-2x+b they give you x and y and all parallel lines have same slope so .. then you will solve for b

OpenStudy (zpupster):

remember standard form is Ax + By = C start this problem then i can help you with the next but should only post one at a time.
