Algebra Help Sean and Mason run out of gas while fishing. They set of an emergency flare with an initial velocity of 30 meters per second. The height of the flare in meters can be modeled by h(t)=-5t^2+30t, where t represents the number of seconds after launch. 1) Simplify the function so you can complete the square. 2) Sean wants to know how high the flare will reach above the waters surface. A) write the function in vertex form, factoring so coefficient of t^2 is 1 B)Complete the square using the vertex form. C) How high will the flare reach?
What have you done so far?
I have not done anything. There are some other questions on the page that I did. I dont understand these ones.
Alright. Do you know how to complete the square?
Never mind. I just figured it out. I know how to do it now. Just watched a video about this stuff on YouTube.
Alright, that's good then :)
Im gonna close the question.
Thank you for helping.
