Determine which pair of ratios form a proportion. A. 10/12,20/32 B.3/7,10/21 c. 4/10,6/15 d 7/9,24/27

OpenStudy (mathmale):

One way of doing this would be to reduce each pair of ratios as much as possible. For example, in the first answer choice< 10/12 reduces to 5/6, and 20/32 reduces to 5/8. Since the ratio 5/6 and the ratio 5/8 are not the same, the first pair of ratios does NOT form a proportion. Do the same thing with the other three answer choices.
