OpenStudy (swissgirl):

A certain disease occurs in 40 % of the population. A test for the disease is fairly accurate: it misclassifies people with the disease as healthy 10 % of the time and reports that a healthy person is diseased just 3% of the time. Suppose that a person tests positive for the disease. Compute the probability that the person does not have the disease.

Oh I see them now!

OpenStudy (rsadhvika):

`...reports that a healthy person is diseased just 3% of the time` lol how that means 30 out of 1000 people will be getting heart attacks because of false reports ! so the test is not really that accurate :P
