@justsmile531 @Walkerman15 any ideas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

- Merchants exported classical Greek and Latin texts printed in Venice as well as contemporary works such as Machiavelli's The Prince. - Scholars traveled from monastery to monastery carrying Italian ideas and books with them. - Pilgrims on their way to the Holy Land often stopped in Italy, where they saw Renaissance artwork and learned Renaissance ideas.

can you help me with this one? Describe at least three differences between Renaissance art from Italy and from northern Europe.

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

I found two differences: 1) Northern artists were more concerned about making their artworks as colorful and detailed as possible. Italian artists were more concerned about making sure that their artworks reflected scientific principles such as human anatomy. 2) Northern artists usually painted using oil paints, whereas Italian artists usually painted using tempera.
