Fighting the oil bubbles
Happy people order and laugh away
The chorus is one in the food court
Incoherent giggles and youthful words
Draw me to the melody
Shopping bags glitter in the happy, swinging hands
It’s a feast of colors
I lose the race with my sweat
As I wait for my dad to pick me up
Time drags slower than a turtle on a beach
