Can someone please explain what diffusion in liquid is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is the movement at what an atom or molecule moves from a higher concentration to a owed concentration, think about food coloring, how it looks when you barely add it into h20, this is conceptual chemistry very easy if you think of examples:)

have you taken biology? you can think of the concentration gradient with the cell membrane and outside the cell:)

Thank you :)
