Can some one help me use the word importunity in a complex sentence?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm annoyed by the importunities of young children.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The importunity of door-to-door salesmen often results in a loss of sales.

@nemotard you literally took that from my other post to OP.

A complex sentence has a independent clause and one or more dependent clauses. An independent clause has a subject and a verb, can stand alone as a sentence, and is a complete thought. A dependent clause starts with either a subordinating conjunction (for example: although, because, whenever) or a relative pronoun (who, whom, whose, that which), has a subject and a verb, is not a complete thought, and cannot stand alone as a sentence. Importunity is persistent solicitation. Although the salesman's importunity annoyed his colleagues, his customers responded well.
