OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the new volume of a rectangular prism that is originally one hundred twelve cubic meters and is then resized using a scale factor of one-half on each side length? seven cubic meters fourteen cubic meters twenty-eight cubic meters fifty-six cubic meters

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Each dimension is being reduced by 1/2 so the volume will decrease by a factor of .5 * .5 * .5 =.125 So the new volume will be .125 times smaller than the original. .125 * 112 cubic meters = 14 cubic meters
