Proposal for this site.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm here.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I came up with an idea in which if you get suspended from this site, your username will turn grey, and also you'll lose a total of five points off your smartscore. Why? Because obviously if you got suspended whatever you did wasn't smart.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes good idea I like it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Medal for you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Me too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No prob.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No Thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm bored Because im taking a test too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its fine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LoL "its fine".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#silence

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(I'M BORED I HAVE A TEST TO.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(IM STILL IN SILENCE)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oops caps was on.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hello?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hey guys I'll sound dumb but I have a question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm brain dead.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The speckled appearance of a rock is called a rock's fracture luster color grain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Think its color

OpenStudy (anonymous):

luster i have no clue

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No its luster

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's grain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess this question can come to a close as well?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Grain is the texture

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not color

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ik

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

Why would you take points off of their smartscore? How would that help? :T

OpenStudy (anonymous):

luster is the amount of shinyness

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gtg for a bit bye

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK bye

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

Because we work really hard to bring our smartscores up, and taking away from that hard work would just make me hate the site. Especially if I were to ask a mod to suspend my account so that I wouldn't be tempted to use it when I left for school. I'd be punished for not wanting to cheat; how would that help anything?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok Gtg bye

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@DangerousJesse Deductions from your smartscore would vary depending on what you did. If you simply requested a suspension you would lose 0 smartscore, if you spammed you'll lose about 3, etc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

See ya renton.

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

But it takes a while to bump yourself up three points. I'm just not seeing what would be accomplished by taking away smart points that a user earned through (hopefully) hard work, especially if mods would be able to abuse that tool to screw with users they weren't fond of :T

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If there is a mod on this site that would abuse their power because of personal reasons, that one should simply not be a mod at all. And if that were to happen all a user has to do is email Openstudy contact, once that happens Preetha or a higher authority will see it and consequences will be given accordingly. Also here's a chart on how i would envision the deduction of points. Tolling/Spamming= 3 points Continues to give out answers after being warned twice- 2 points Something bad, but minor- 1 point Requested- 0 points

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

Okay :3 I don't think it's possible to deduct points, though, but good luck with the good ideas

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's true. Thanks for your contribution.
