What made World War II a total war?
still need help?
All of the united state's resources went towards winning the war against Germany & Japan. Like the victory gardens that people were encouraged to plant and grow their own food so the food in markets would go to the soldiers
Also, nations were mobilized, drafts instated, industry was changed over to war production, civilian populations were placed under rationing of materials and in war zones, civilian populations were directly involved in wartime production and a target as well.
I hope this helped, good luck. :)
World War 2 was a big war because it started by a little country that was going through poorness that want a great leader to pull up their economics since World War 1 made allot of damage and destruction to their land. They were trying to reach world domination but were brainwashed my a leader and the Germans didn't see what of a monster they were following. Also they were trying to conquer the world but like any other war there were resistance in Russia, U.K., U.S., and every country they took over just the countries they took over lost to them from poor defense and our numbered.
Darn, the asker isn't even online. :( Oh well I'll give you a medal, you give me a medal? :)
