y - 2x = -1 .====> y=2x-1 put value of y in other x + 3y = 4 x+3*(2x-1)=4 x+6x-3=4 7x=7 x=1 y=2x-1 putting this in equation y=2*1-1=1 y=1 so they will intersect at (1,1)
