Medals, good or bad?
metals are good
I have recently discovered that people are giving direct answers to people because they want to hoard medals. For example, they give a direct answer to someone and then say "Can I have a medal/reward?" I just saw someone today that was giving out direct answers say "5 more medals until I reach my goal." When people join openstudy they don't bother to read the Code of conduct, they just check the boxes like they're going through the motions. (doing the same thing on other websites) All I'm saying is that most people on here use medals the wrong way they're supposed to be used, instead of the right way.(appreciating helping people out and not giving out direct answers)
Well, then it is a learning opportunity. They can be nudged towards a more worthwhile use of the system.
Mmmhmm
Medals are good people just take advantage of it, I don't answer questions directly I answer the ones i know and If they don't give me a medal that's fine with me.
...medals...are...good...
