@jazzy688

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x= -0.4

OpenStudy (cj49):

10x+8=10x+6 10x-10x=6-8 x=-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got -0.4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

One sec let me check my work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just need to know if the equation will always sometimes or never be true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the left and right sides are not equal there is no solution

OpenStudy (cj49):

it wnt be ever true bc 2(5x+4) gives 10x+8 which is not equal to 10x+6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do it mean when they ask will it sometimes be true ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is their another way to find the answer

OpenStudy (cj49):

substitute the value of x as -2 in the equation and then see if r.h.s=l.h.s
