SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I'LL GIVE YOU A MEDAL AND FAN IF YOU DO please help!!! Ken is digging a well starting at 25 m above sea level. He digs down 40 m. What is the bottom of the well's altitude now? m = ???

OpenStudy (winsteria):

@SilenTempest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Add the initial height ( 25m) and Ken goes down another 40m. Simple addition.

OpenStudy (winsteria):

So 65 m ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m= 65m. I would personally put it -65m because its underground but 65 m describes how deep the well is now. So just put m= 65m

OpenStudy (winsteria):

So do you personally think I should put -65 or 65 as my final answer???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

65m as the final answer. No need to make it complicated.

OpenStudy (winsteria):

Okay thank you so much
