A height above ground, h meters, of a child on a swing ranges from minimum 0.5m to max of 1.5 meters. Child reaches max height every second. Initially the child is at max height. Express the height as either a cosine or sine function in time h(t)

the centre of the motion is 1 metre

so starting at the max us cosine

and

h(t) = 0.5cos(t) + 1
