Using linear algebra, analyze the given electrical circuits by finding the unknown currents. i will attach the image

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are you not sure about, the circuit theory or the algebra ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

circuit theory, I am supposed to get 6 equations, correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6 would be good, since you have 6 unknowns, yes : ) you have two pieces of physics that help you to construct the equations that you need, the first is kirchoff's voltage law, the second is kirchoff's current law

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the current law is pretty straightforward with the voltage law you just have to take care to get the signs of the voltage drops right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you familiar with kirchoff's laws ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ProfBrainstrom i have my 6 equations on the above link

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can find the main current (I1) by combining the resistors parallelly.
