Whats the difference between electricity and magnetism. so my teacher gave me an example like an object might not have any electric effects without friction but magnets will always be magnets but what else?

You could consider the different sources of electric and magnetic fields. Also, the way in which a charged particle responds to, or 'feels' the field is quite different in each case. Actually magnets can be demagnetised in various ways, so it's maybe not correct to say magnets will always be magnets.
