have you tried desmos.com
so i put it in, but i dont get if it is greater than or less than
like would it be Increasing x < –1, Decreasing x > –1 or Increasing x > –1; Decreasing x < –1
i understand its either B or D but how do i figure out which one?

ok look at the last answer when x>-1 you see what the graph is doing remember we are only concerned with x value
