You just need the formula \[s=s _{0}+ut+\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }at^2\] where s is the distance travelled, s0 is the initial position and u the initial speed here, you can take s0=0 and u=0 then just focus on the position of the front of the trolley. You know that at t=6 it has moved 2.2 meters compared to where it was at t=5. That gives you two equations in s and a that you you can solve for a.
