Multiply both sides of the equation by seven. So you have 7 (k/7) = 7 (10). Well, the left side of the equation cancels out, since any time a fraction is multiplied by it's denominator it is canceled out so only the numerator is remaining. So you have k = 7(10), which is equal to 70.
