Identify the maximum and minimum values of the function y=3cosx in the interval [-2pi,2pi].

and if you multiply that max value by 3 what do you get ?

and it's the same idea for the minimum value of 3 cos(x)
which would be -3

i have to like show work for this problem, but there isnt really much to show
its really easy
you can write: max value of cosine in the interval [-2pi,2pi] is 1 3 cos(x) has a max value of 3 * max value of cosine = 3*1= 3
