you have to "test" each choice for example, if they gave you the point (0,1) (which is an (x,y) pair and stands for x=0, y=1) you would replace x in each relation with a 0 and replace the y with a 1 you would get 1 > -3*3 + 3 1 > 0+2 simplify the first turns into 1 > -9+3 or 1 > -6 that is true. 1 is bigger than -6 for the second 1 > 0+2 or 1>2 that is false. so the point (0,1) is *not* a solution. do that with each of the choices. presumably one (and only one) choice works for both relations.
