I am getting the following message every time I try to post a response on openstudy. Do you want to open or save F1403######### from openstudy.com? What is this? How can I get it to stop doing it.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

What browser? Sounds like something is having issues in the browser.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get that error and i use firefox

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Lets say some ad uses a specific function in Flash that your version has a problem with. Then the error Flash generates could do something odd. That is just one thing. It could be the JavaScript engine in the browser. It could be a lot of things. Trying another browser on the same system can help discover if it is browser linked. And sometimes a reinstall or upgrade to the browser will fix these things.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that error , i get it too

OpenStudy (skyz):

i have gotten it before but it stopped

OpenStudy (skyz):

wasnt sure what it was

OpenStudy (precal):

I believe I am using internet Explorer

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

It only happens in Internet Explorer. And once that comes up you have to refresh your page to reply again to a question. If you use Chrome or Firefox that issue does not come up though.

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

Yea, this would save all of the AJAX and COMET request responses... Those who had autosave on... i had this one guy find out he had over 5000 files saved from responses from the comet ajax system xD
