How does atmospheric pressure predict our weather?
Air pressure does effect our weather. When the pressure is really high, you can expect sunny and more of the warmer days. If the pressure is low, the weather could be rainy and even cloudy.
> When the atmospheric pressure is really high then we can expect sunny and warmer day or weather because a high atmospheric pressure is an area of sinking air, and air tends to dry out as it sinks, leaving sunny skies. > When the atmospheric pressure is really low then we can expect rainy and cloudy day or weather because the strong areas of low pressure bring our stormiest weather. That's because it's an area of rising air, and as air rises, it condenses into clouds and rain. Air moves from higher pressure to lower pressure, so if you have a high and a low nearby, it can be windy as air rushes between the two.
