Am I right? Medals!
The table below shows the distance d(t) in feet that an object travels in t seconds: What is the average rate of change of d(t) between 2 seconds and 6 seconds, and what does it represent? A. 128 m/s; it represents the average speed of the object between 2 seconds and 6 seconds B. 80 m/s; it represents the average speed of the object between 2 seconds and 6 seconds C. 128 m/s; it represents the average distance traveled by the object between 2 seconds and 6 seconds D. 80 m/s; it represents the average distance traveled by the object between 2 seconds and 6 seconds I think its A or D but I'm not sure?
@texaschic101 @undeadknight26 @tkhunny
(576-64)/(6-2) = Average Rate of Change between 2 and 6.
So I subtract the top and bottom, now i got 512 over 4, and that is equal to 128, right? So its A?
@tkhunny Am I right? Is it A?
What a strange question. Did you perform the subtractions and division correctly? Then you have it. It is the average speed.
