Help with f of g and g of f equation

f o g is the function you get if you replace the x in f(x) by g(x) eg if f(x) = 3x and g(x) = x-2 then (f o g)x = 3(x-2)

I understand this its just the algebra is what is messing me up i dont know how to work around the sqrt of 6
