inverse means solving for other variable

\[y = 7x +4\]
just try to get "x" by itself ..... it helps to flip the x and y too so you are left with a function in terms of "x"
\[7y +4 = x\]
\[7y = x-4\]
\[y = \frac{x-4}{7}\]
