Discuss the popular methods of birth control in America. What are the success rates for the most popular items, what are the least successful methods and why.

Why are some items such as the pill, the patch, the ring, the shot popular? What are their advantages and disadvantages (everyone has both)?

Since America has a lot of promiscuous citizens, there is a lot of worry of some contracting sexually transmitted diseases. In my middle school health class we learnt of the practice called safe sex. Do you know what safe sex is?

Well in the health class I took, we never learn about birth control pills however we did learn about condoms. The main point was the device was supposed to prevent a male's sperm from fertilizing a female's egg. Condoms by far are the most used method as it is economically affordable, unlike pills.

Condoms have the benefit of being able to prevent pregnancy, and prevent sexually transmitted diseases. While pills generally only are of the former.
