OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):

A sandwich store's weekly profit is given by P(x) = -0.0001x^2 + 2.45x − 525. The number of sandwiches sold each week is given by x and Pof(x) represents the weekly profit in dollars. If the sandwich shop didn't sell one sandwich, they would lose $525 dollars.

OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):

Is this false because doesn't the -525 just mean where the graph starts?

OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):

actually i think i am over thinking this would be true because -525 would be expenses?

OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):

and profit is what is made so yes if they didn't they would lose 525

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Exactly! -525 : loss +525 : profit

OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):

:D yay I thought so

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

good job !
