For the first one, time will always be the independent variable, because time is determined and it is not controlled by the other variable. Dependent variable, on the other hand, would be the number of pigs because we can't determine how many pigs there will be unless time passes.

x-axis are always the independent variable while the dependent variable is usually on the y-axis. So you are correct.

For the third Question. I believe its the first answer. a straight line that is decreasing. 
Reason is: Scott started his bank with 150 dollars. and he is spending 7 dollars each day...Therefore the line will have a constant decreases....since Scott is spending 7 dollars everyday which is constant.
