A rectangular box with volume 517 cubic feet is built with a square base and top. The cost is $1.50 per square foot for the top and the bottom and $2.00 per square foot for the sides. Let x represent the length of a side of the base in feet. Express the cost of the box as a function of x and then graph this function. From the graph find the value of x, to the nearest hundredth of a foot, which will minimize the cost of the box.

Can't be a rectangular box with a square base and top.It is a square based box with sides x mult x. Vol is area of base by ht which is makes the ht 517/x^2. So cost of top and bottom is 2x^2 mult by 1.5 and sides are 517/x mult by 2. Make any sense?

I'm having trouble using that info to find x
