You should apply the well known formula that relates power, time and work. The work done, in joules, is just the heat produced.

\[W=P\cdot t\] The 12 V data is just included in the power symbol, P.

The voltage is not relevant in this case.

Power - which is measured in Watts measure the 'rate of expenditure of energy'

1 watt = 1 joule/second

So to work out the the energy :

energy = Power x time

@John_ES - the 12 V is not included in the power.
You could get 12W from any combination of Voltage and Current. It is not relevant to this question.
