What is the equation of the graphed line? Hint: Determine the slope of the line. y = ___ over ____x http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1503000_1503500/1503206/2/537531cd53990c49c34dd60adddf77266ee9150d/MS_IMC-140516-1000016.jpg

Im still confused with slopes, and graphs! Explain carefully please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what grade math are you doing

OpenStudy (igreen):

Just pick any 2 points on the line and plug them into the slope formula. Let's use (0, 0) and (5, 6). The slope formula is \(m = \dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\). Our points are: \(y_2 = 6\) \(y_1 = 0\) \(x_2 = 5\) \(x_1 = 0\) Plug them in: \(m = \dfrac{6-0}{5-0}\) Subtract: \(m = \dfrac{6}{5}\) So the slope is \(\dfrac{6}{5}\).
