0.3t=1.5 solve for t
OpenStudy (one098):
t=5
OpenStudy (anonymous):
how do u solve these???
OpenStudy (one098):
Okay, so that one was 0.3t=15. You want to isolate t, so it will end up as t=(something). So you want to divide both sides by the coefficient. So I divided 0.3 by 0.3 and that cancels out leaving the t alone on the left side of the equal sign. Then I divided 1.5 by 0.3 and that gave me 5. The answer it t=5. And you just apply that to all problems that look the same. :)
