I need help anybody plz help will give meadals

1:if immigration and emigrattion numbers remain equal, which of these could cause a slowed growth rate increased birth rate constant death rate decreased birthrate constant birth rate 3:as resources in a population become less available the population declines rapildy increases slowly reaches carrying capacity enters a phase of exponetial growth 4:when the exxponetial phase of logistic growth curve of a popualtion ceases the size of the population drops the size of the population stays the same population growth begins to slow down population growth begins to speed up 5: which of the following is the most likely reason that a population of mice in a farming area suddenly increases more mice immigrate from neighboring areas fewer mice emigrate to neighboring areas more food is availble as grain is harvested more nesting space is availble as new barns are constructed

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Do you have any ideas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on number 1 no number3 I think is a and number for is either a or c and number five I think is a

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Ok let's this about number 1. If nothing comes in to add to the number and nothing goes out to decrease the number, what else can happen? Think of what each answer choice would do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but which constant is it

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Oh I wasn't thinking it's a constant. From what I understand, the question is saying there is a growth rate but something slows it down. I would say when the birth rate is lower but still higher than death rate. So the population still grows but slower. What do you think? If either rate is constant, the population pattern will depend on the other rate. No?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its an increase in birthrate

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

If birth rate increases you'll have more born at the same time, That would not slow the growth

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its decreased in the birthrate

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Yup sounds right to me. For number 3, the population would decline if there isn't ENOUGH resources. But the question is asking if there are only less resources. So the population wouldn't decline yet but...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Sorry I wasnt online :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Srry i wasnt online

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the answer for number 5? @katalina13 @wolfe8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Number 5 is C.

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Answers: 1. C ~ Decreased Birthrate 2. D ~ Exponential 3. C ~ Reaches Carrying Capacity 4. C ~ Population Growth Begins to Slow Down 5. C ~ More Food is Available as Grain is Harvested 5/5 100%
