You have learned about several characteristics that knights are expected to have and display. Explain what you think is the most important characteristic for a knight to have and why it is the most important. Then find an excerpt from one of your reading selections that shows a knight demonstrating this characteristic. Include the excerpt in your post and explain why it is important or good that the knight demonstrates this characteristic. I answered this 2 times now. This was my final answer to this discussion: "When we hear the word, knight, we think of a true warrior who himself sacrifices to protect the land of their people. A knight could have several different types of characteristics, those include: bravery, loyalty, chivalry, intelligence, and aristocratic. However, these characteristics perform on a different situations - say for instance, bravery and intelligence - a noble knight needs intelligence to conquer the battlefield. Putting on that shiny knight armor, could present a whole lot. When I mean by this is, once you wear that armor, folks will know that you're brave enough to protect your people, and land. One of the excerpts that I decided that I would like to discuss is: "Sir," said Ector to Arthur, “ I beg you be a good and gracious lord to me when you are king.” “I would be ungrateful otherwise,” said Arthur, “for I owe no man in all the world as much as I owe you and your lady wife, who has cared for me as for her own. If ever I am King as you say, I shall grant whatever you may ask. God forbid that I should fail you.” Sir Ector said, “I'll ask but one thing of you – that you make my son, your foster brother, Seneschal of your lands.” Arthur answered, “That shall be done, and more. No other man shall have that office while he and I live.” I chose this excepts, due to the loyalty that Arthur showed to Sir Ector. Always show that you're loyal to others, so then when you're having problems, they will have the respect and dignity to help you out in a situation. Besides loyalty, it's important to show different characteristics to others, they'll appreciate you more than you could expect." Then one out of 20, she gave me a 14. Like really?
