Well, we do know that Conquistadors pitted native tribes against each other, favoring their allies, as long as they were useful. Once the conquest was over, the Native Americans were subject to mistreatment and slavery. What answer do you think it may be now? Did this clear it up for you a bit?

Good job! C is very similar to B, in the way that they wanted to do these things, but it did not describe their feelings. Remember, the Spanish did come for gold in the first place. :) Good job!
