What's the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which attitude best describes the view of most of the English settlers who came to colonize Jamestown in the 1600's? Select one: a. The Indians are there to be enslaved and made to work for us. b. The Indians are potential allies to help us fight the Spanish. c. The Indians are potential trading partners who can help us get rich. d. The Indians are uncivilized heathens to be pushed out of our way.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm thinking c because the English did come in thinking that the Indians would trade with them making Jamestown rich and very successful.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its C also but I wasn't for sure until I read the passage on wiki

thanks(: @kyleighdancer Which of the following was not a mistake made by the English settlers in Jamestown? Select one: a. Rather than work to plant crops, many went off looking for gold. b. Rather than find high ground, they built the original settlement in a mosquito-filled swampy lowland. c. Rather than build a fort, they simply spread out and built their homes wherever anyone pleased. d. Rather than make friends with the Indians, they killed 20 natives when Powhatan refused to force runaways living among his people to return to the Jamestown settlement.

Im thinking A because they thought Jamestown would be filled with gold making them rich. @boricua5
